🔋 Run clean power direct to battery with an inline fuse (no switch panel, no shared accessories)

📶 Double check your transducer angle and depth – level mount, no tilt, not too shallow

⚙️ Turn off “Auto” mode for sensitivity, contrast, or range – manual control gives better results

🔍 Check your frequency – 455kHz for range, 800/1000kHz for detail (Side/Down)

🌊 Slow down your boat when scanning structure – clearer images under 5 knots

🔌 Inspect your wiring – look for corrosion, dodgy crimps, or thin gauge wire
