The Captian

🫡 Hi, I’m Cody — a 29-year-old Queensland Angler, Husband, Father, and self-confessed intel junkie. I’m just like you: a local who lives and breathes the water, constantly chasing the next piece of the puzzle. My journey has been shaped by years of emergency response work, life resets, and raising a neurodiverse family that sees our ADHD and Autism not as limitations, but as superpowers — especially when it comes to hyper-fixating on the things we love.

For me, that’s fishing. And not just catching fish — understanding them.

Over the years, I’ve built a personal library of notes, reports, sounder settings, species insights, and location data. Not because I had to… but because I couldn’t help it. I’ve wired my boat three times just for the fun of it, spent hundreds of hours fine-tuning sonar returns, and started documenting everything — partly so I’d never forget it, and partly so I could pass it down to my kids.

Now, I’m passing it to you.
